The Approach
A strategic plan including moving two major application services to the Internet, re-designing their back-office systems interfaces and establishing a new brand positioning for their online Title Search and Library Standing-Order Services.
The Results
  • Delivered design and development consulting during the development of Title Source II and provided marketing positioning strategy and sales consulting.
  • Positioned Title Source II as the premiere online title search capability for researchers and individual purchasers.  Delivered over $1million in revenue within its first year.
  • Delivered design and development consulting for COMPASS and re-engineered its interfaces with Baker & Taylor's sales order processing, inventory management, fulfillment distribution and invoicing systems.
  • Positioned COMPASS as the premiere library standing order service allowing public, research and academic libraries to manage their own profiles and standing orders.  Resulted in significantly enhanced customer service and increased subscription revenues.
